In this fun memory game, children must associate the animal shown on the card with its correct coat.  The animals are divided according to the environment where they live: 5 animals from a meadow, 5 from a jungle, 5 from a savannah, 5 from the forest, and 5 from a farm.  This creates the possibility of playing in different ways.

FEATURES:

50 pieces

AGE:  3 - 6 years

BOX SIZE:  18.8cm x 18.8cm x 6cm

WAYS TO PLAY:

1.  Memory Game (2 - 4 players)

Mix the 50 cards and place them face-up on a playing surface in an orderly manner.  After studying the images for 30 seconds, turn all the cards over.  The youngest player starts by turning over two cards at random.  If these cards form a pair, they win the cards and turn over two more; otherwise they turn the cards face-down and the turn passes to the next player.  Play proceeds in a clockwise direction.  The player who has the most pairs at the end of the game wins.

2.  Categorization Game

Gather only the cards with animals on them and after having arranged them face-up on the table ask children to collect them by categories.  For example, all the cards with farm animals on them, then those with forest animals and so on.

3.  Bingo (2 - 5 players)

Each player chooses a set of animals from a given environment and takes the 5 corresponding cards, placing them face-up in front of them.  If there are less than 5 players, all the other cards that refer to the non-selected categories are put aside.  Gather all the cards with coats of animals on them and put them in a bag.  After mixing them up without looking, the youngest player starts the game by drawing a card.  If the coat that they have drawn matches one of the animals in their own category, they win the card by placing it on the corresponding animal.  Otherwise, they place the card back in the bag.  The turn passes to the next player proceeding clockwise.  The first person to find the matches for their animals wins the game.
